I saw what happened at the entrance to Oakwood Village & heard that someone crashed their car into it. I went on the City of Tampa Police website & saw that there was a call for service at 3:04 in the morning & there was a report filed. The report number is 595928. I tried to get a copy of the report on-line but I don't think it's been posted yet. Hopefully the driver had insurance so it can be filed for the costs of replacing the damaged entrance. I really hope the HOA does not get stuck with the costs...Also, I will contact Lee Polk at the HOA to see about a date & time for the next meeting. Does anyone know if we can bypass her & contact the board directly?

I am so glad that I least we know what happened. I am hoping who ever is responsable for this has good Property damage coverage. I will contact Ms. Polk.

The security camera at the gate needs to be working ASAP.

This is Ms. Polk email just in case lee.polk@greenacreproperties.com

I left a message for Ms. Lee Polk yesterday morning informing her on the accident at the property entrance. Also, requested the phone num. for the new HOA President. At this time I still waiting for her to return my call. In addition, I reported the damage exit gate and the pool gate missing a pole. Thanks to everyone for becoming proactive in resolving the challenges that we are facing in our community.

The missing pole at the pool was replaced, but as of Sunday the sign connected to it that reads "no animals" was still broken, i'm assuming this is something they had to order.
