Thornton Park

I missed the last neighborhood meeting at Thornton Park. Can you please tell me what transpired at the meeting or where I may find that information on this site.

Missed NA meeting

Sorry for the late response. Our most recent NA meeting was held on September 25, 2002. Topics discussed were the increased traffic within the neighborhood. Adams Street is being considered for speed humps but this takes sometime (I recently saw traffic count meters). Jefferson Elementary is aware of the traffic safety problems and is working to create a safer drop off/pick up area. Also statistics for the area were given by SAPD, no major concerns. Crime is down. Next meeting is January 22, 2003 at 7:00pm at McFadden Intermediate Library.

Both Jefferson and McFadden are part of a safety task force that meets monthly to find ways to improve the safety within and around the schools.
