On wednsday, December 5, the MPC voted to defer for 30 days the change of zoning proposal for the property south of Calderwood Drive. As a neighborhood we are ''Opposed'' to any zoning request to change that property from ''R-A'' to ''I-1/I-2'', which would allow just about anything 'Commercial or Industrial''. We want to maintain a safe, quiet, family oriented neighborhood. Let's continue to watch for this issue next year and ask the MPC to vote it ''DOWN'', once and for all! Our petition had 260 names of homeowners in opposition to this zoning change.
