I don't know how many are aware of the teens in the parks smoking. I have seen rolling papers being used and passing lit cigaretts around. Money has been transfered on several occassions. They meet during the day, sometimes twice, and in the evening. I even stopped one teen from urinating in broad daylight.
Are the parents aware of their teens meeting in the parks for such activities.
The police have been called several times and have responded well, even to pull over some of the teens. Pictures have been taken from these activities.
Parents, know where your teens are and what they are doing and with whom.
I think a light, not bright, on the lake side of the parks should be installed and dilligent inspection of the parks, while passing, should deter some of this activity. And above all, lets get rid of this activity.

Call 911

A week ago I came home early in the Afternoon to find several teens having a party at the lake. I noted that they were at least 15 years old or younger.
Parents check your child's attendance at school. Just call the school. I had to call 911 to get the police to ticket these kids who were truant.

number, 207-7273. It will get results!

Parents

At least one of the parents knows what's going on with their kid, but may be unable to deal with it. Some of the other adults in the neighborhood know at least some of these kids. How do you call the cops on the kid of a neighbor? Do we really want a neighborhood ''war''? Is there a better way to handle this?
