Does anyone have a copy of an article about the creation of Towne Lake? I remember reading one years ago (I think it was in a TLGA Newsletter). It dealt with the city's participation and the lining of the lake bottom with caliche after it was drained.
I have a picture (too blurry to put online) of the lake before it had water. Not a pretty sight!.
