Sunday evening the female resident of the house exactly right of the main stop sign was in the Dollar General parking lot & was going to drive over the curb to come into the neighborhood til I slowed down & stopped to wait & watch what she was going to do.  She saw me stopped then backed up & went out the Dollar General entrance/exit & then went around.  I several months ago have also seen the male in that house who drives the white suburban do the very same thing.  Not sure if they are at the store or just coming down Nacogdoches & being to lazy to wait at the stop light to come in to way they are suppose to.  Is it just me because, but I really dont see how jumping the curb gets any one of us home any quicker & I do know how long it takes sometimes to wait til traffic is clear enough to go thru the unprotected light.  Also it is keeping the ground torn up right there & driving over that area may be why they have pipes burst under ground & the road to our neighborhood gets flooded with water.  Dollar General hasn't done a good job at keeping the trees/grass looking good anyways but that just makes it worse.

If Im not mistaken, a vote of "No!" was the outcome for having a driveway put in that faces our neighborhood...

yeah I thought the same thing...

Are the curb jumpers owners or renters?  Perhaps a letter to the owner signed by several neighbors expressing your concerns would help.  Also a letter by the BOD to Dollar General apologizing for our errant owners/renters and asking for their help might have some effect.  It can't hurt and if our management company wants an arm and leg to do it, I'll type it, if asked.

Suggestion (and this happened years ago in another neighborhood).  Our street was 2 blocks long, not a main thorouhfare, and our little kids used it for their games until a teenage boy who lived at one end of the street would reve up his car, speed to the other end and slam on his brakes before he got to the cross street.   Several of the fathers got together, paid a call on the boy's father and politely told him this had to stop.  It did.  This did require cool heads, cooperation between the fathers, and cooperation from the boy's family.

Impact on the jumpers may be minimal, but at least they will know what is expected of them as residents of Towne Lake.  In my experience here, I have found that some residents think this is a duty free area--anything goes.
