We don't get around the lake as often as we'd like but I couldn't help but notice that there was only one goose swimming today.  I know that we had a pair , and that they were inseperable. Does anyone know what happened?  We used to have quite a few, but some were unfortunately killed.  Are ther still any plans to add some to our flock?

Saw both of them yesterday.  You are right they are not together as much as normal.  Add to the flock, that would be nice.

I remember a post, long ago, from someone saying they were raising some to release on the lake. I'm guessing that didn't work out. I'd be happy tp raise some, if I could find a source for goslings. Any ideas?

Several weeks ago I saw a nest with 4 goose eggs.  The female may be setting on them--that would account for the pair being separated.  I hope the eggs were not destroyed; I'd like to see goslings.
