Please join your fellow TowneLakers for our May HOA meeting to hear & discuss issues reguarding our neighborhood.  Specifically, progress on our water rights issues.  Other items of concern will also be discussed.

The first part of the meeting will be open to anyone who wants to make their case against keeping the lake.

Meetings begin at 7 and should wrap up by 8:15.

Hope to see you there.

I was just wondering if we were closing in on that 1 year monitoring period of the lake, and how close we were to a deadline before our assesments would have to be adjusted? It's a bit over $100 a home I think.

Our monitoring period is over in July.  Our April meeting discussed the value of the lake as an anchor ammenity for our entire neighborhood.  Our May meeting was open to anyone who wanted to make a point against the lake, there was discussion but no formal oposition.  The cost of filling it or developing the area far outweigh the cost of water rights.

Our next step is to perform a a geophysical log on our well to positively determine which aquifer we are in.  All bets are the Edwards.  This procedure is should be performed within the next two weeks, weather permiting.  Look for a very large craine near the well area soon.

A report of all findings & options will be presented at the June 30th HOA meeting.

Thanks for the reply,

That would be great if we could secure water riights. So, July would be when our assesments would go up in order to start paying for the water? Will the assesments be based on actual usage or projected usage?

Thanks
