I have nothing against having ducks in the neighborhood. I would like it better if they were more confined to the lake area so, that there would be less of a hazard in someone running over them.

There would also be less hazard to the ducks from being poisoned by discarded, but not empty, alcohol containers that have been left by your children and visitors in the neighborhood. And since a young man has chased ducks with a board across your neighbors' lawns and then ducked into your garage, it would be much safer if the ducks could stay away from that. I agree with you. The ducks should not be allowed on Lake Sunset since it is so dangerous for them there. |

I really dont like these darn things (ducks). Sure I understand they were here first and the lake is their home. However, no one but myself has to clean the crap they leave behind on my property (front and backyard). If the HOA fees are for upkeep and what not, how come duck duty isnt part of the service? I chase them away too, Ill admit it. I dont abuse them, but I do scare them away... |

Here is a link to an interesting article on ducks. Apparently we have a mating pair where I work and one of our resident biologists has taken it upon himself to educate everyone about the care of wild ducks. I thought some in Towne Lake would find the information helpful too. http://www.liveducks.com/wfeeding.html
