Are the street sweepers back, or are they temporary?

The city of San Antonio sends the street sweeper after the brush pick up.  Since we are a gated community, they do not  provide service to us.  I guess the guys dicided to come in and make a quick sweep.  They did not sweep every street.  The areas they swept look very nice.

Dirty steets are a personal pev of mine.  We have received a bid for quarterly service.

I think it was $198 per visit.  It takes a majority of the board (three) to spend any money.  It was not in the 2009 budget, but may be in the 2010 budget.  So far two of the board members want to  begin this service.  Have not heard back two others.

It is my personal opinion that basic services need to be performed flawlessly.  Streets, lights, landscaping, security & of course the gate.

Please note that we have been very busy solving the lake issue, changing mgmnt companies, etc.  Every effort is being made to be very conservative fiscally until the lake issue is resolved for the long term.

Thanks,

I was assuming it was just a follow up from the brush collection, but when they returned the next day I got my hopes up.
