Towne Lake Garden Association

I know that we are only having grounds maintenance twice a month. Just wondering how much longer before the tall grass and weeds growing around the lake are going to be mowed. I know the area around the park was done last week. What about the rest of the common area?

Originally we hired someone who was available one day a week and noticed we needed someone for two days a week. The gentleman available for two days a week was not able to do all the work needed. We are currently looking to hire a person on "contract labor", which would be cheaper than what we were paying the other gentleman. Until the position is filled, residents are volunteering to do what they can.

Don't our HOA fees go to pay for things like this? Can't we find a company that will do the job instead of one person. The common area around the lake is looking really awful. With snake season on us doesn't the board think we should keep things cut down? It is really starting to look shabby. The are posts to remind everyone to keep the trash bins out of sight so the neighborhood looks good. The weeds need to be addressed also.
