Its been pointing at the ground a few days. I have not seems wires hanging, it sorta just looks like it slipped forward as a screw just holds it in angle.
The trees need to be cut away from it again. It is possible a branch smacked??? |

Looking at this daily it seems to me this problem was caused by running a metal suport cable from the pole to the gate. Every time the gate opens or closes it is moving this cable and sending vibrations up the pole most likley causing the bolt that was holding the camera at its specific angle to loosen and the camera fell forward. In fact one of the two cables that were attached to the gate seems to have wiggled its way out of the gate as well.
All we need is a tall ladder and to go up and reposition the camera and tighten it down I bet. Maybe some locktight on the bolts this time? The cables should probably to affixed to a fixed object instead of one that moves alot.

Well, it's Sept 3 and the camera is still pointing down. Who's in charge of the camera? Who monitors it? Why is it there? To catch whoever is raming the gate? |
