It is up to the homeowner to trim their trees. The fire code says that the trees hanging over the road must be no lower than 13 feet 6 inches.

With the brush pick-up coming on Sept. 13th, I would suggest getting the trees trimmed soon and keep them up to code.

Scott I doubt it will be done in time, but can the managment company send letters to those people that need to trim?

I see it all over the place, some trees are 5 feet from the ground I think!!

Alot of people are not going to get out and do it on there own, and I am sure some wont do it even with a letter...

Last Monday or Tuesday the management came through and documented who needed to trim trees. Letters went out last week.
