 I also experienced last week that my car had been broken into.  Though it wasn't locked someone had gone through my console and glove box.

They didn't take anything although my gate and garage opener were there.  In conversation with neighbors, another vehicle in the area was also broken into and electronic devices were taken along with an unregistered, ( LOADED 357 Magnum handgun)  . BE WATCHFUL, there is possibly an armed criminal element lurking in the neighborhood after dark.  Keep a porch light on, secure your belongings , set your car alarms, and lets keep an eye out for people in the wrong place at the wrong time.

We could view the pictures from the gate to see if any suspects might be found.  I can't understand why vandals/thieves would enter into a gated community since you would need to wait at the gate to get in and with the cameras at the gate I think this would deter this type of crime.  We all know how well the gates and cameras are working all the time.

I don't know if any of you saw this on TV, but one of those stupid criminals walked into a convenience store, and then put on a mask in full view of the video camera before robbing the place. Just sayin.
