I am usually very supportive of the board, however I do feel let down that something as simple as having someone fix the positioning of the cameras has not been done.

They just need to be re aimed and tightened down.

I know someone said the guy that installed them has cancer, ok that is sad, however a neighborhood cannot just stop operating because a contractor has cancer. If he is not able to come himself he needs to send someone else out to fix his job...

If we have a service plan with him to maintain the cameras and he is not doing it we need to look at getting a refund of the amount and hire someone else to fix it.

It looks ghetto.

The HOA needs to save all the money they can so they can send out certified letter's toYell residense that don't take their trashcans from the curb on time.

I am starting to like the ghetto look,  hope our city taxes will go down now.

Draston and neighborhood, this month was getting 3 bids for the job at hand. We got bids from ADT, Protection One, and Integrated 360. Wednesday in the final day to recieve the bids because we have to get this done. The bidders have been quick to come out but real slow to give a bid.

As far as an easy job, "They just need to be re aimed and tightened down", I wish it was that easy. If you lean a ladder on the pole to get to the cameras, the pole leans and when you take the ladder off, the cameras aren't lined up anymore. The job needs a bucket truck or a lift. The rental of the bucket truck is $450.

With these bids there is a contract to continually come out and check the cameras as needed and repair or replace the cameras as well as the DVR.

Scott thank you for the info. "We" and "I" the residents dont know what goes on behind the scenes... I'm sure you know that first hand!!

Sorry for saying nothing was being done when clearly it was per your posting.

Has anyone thought about asking one of the Time Warner guys that bring bucket trucks home if they would do it real quick without anyone knowing???
