Hi Towne Lake Webby,
The domain name for your website, townelakega.org is up for renewal and the Management Company has told us they don't want to pay the $12 to renew it because they've created a different website for your group. Their specific reason was that they didn't like the Discussion area.
Your website here will stay up as long as you want to use it. The question is whether you want people to still be able to use the address www.TowneLakeGa.org to reach the site. If that address is important to you, we're happy for you to take over paying the $12 per year it costs to renew the domain.
If you don't want that to be the site's address any longer, let me know and we'll let it lapse. Anyone usingwww.TowneLakeGa.org wouldn't find the site - they'd get an error message saying it couldn't be found. Folks would need to know the address had changed to:
http://www.neighborhoodlink.com/Towne_Lake_Garden
Let me know your thoughts here - we have until June 10th to decide.
There's also an option here for you to upgrade to the Premium version - this would give you lots more features (you'd be able to make the Discussion area private and viewable only by site Members, along with a lot of other cool stuff) and the domain name would be paid as part of that package. The cost to do that is $120 per year.
I've also noticed that there are blank posts happening in the Discussion forum. I've contacted the folks making these posts to explain the problem and have removed them so they can repost if they'd like. This is caused by compatibility issues with computers using Internet Explorer 9 which we are working on and hope to get fixed her pretty quickly. If posts or changes are made with Firefox, Chrome, or Safari in the meantime, they work just fine.
Feel free to send me any questions you have about any of this or other things!
