I have lived her for approimately 14yrs and I have seen many changes, some bad some good. When I first moved here no one was allowed at the lake by residents "insurance reasons" I was told. These days there alot of cars and trucks roaming around our circle at all hours of the night. I can see from my property cars and trucks parking on the other side of the lake at all hours of the night, parking here over the weekends and fishing and walking the lake. I was certain ther is a white and red sigh at the gate that reads "No tresspassers, you will be towed away"
I have seen people that obviously don't belong here swerve to kill ducks (just for fun?)
and fishing here throwing trash by the lake and staying here well after dark.
I believe we are losing grip on our basic secruity and oyr serinity!!
Soon the small children that play up and down the street will be no more!!
We run the risk of the obvious... theft, loatering and undesirable people that we moved here to get away from. Maybe we should fill in the lake (like some nut job mentioned in days past) with dirt, then cement and build a few basketball courts and places to hangout and then we to can get used to the shootings (happened accross the street at the park, two dead and 4 wounded) Over a game of basketball??
If we don't do somethimg to take back our homes and property, we will all be sorry.
Do I have the immediate answers no but I would bet tat between us we can figure this problem out.
1. Suggestion - Start driving by, taking pictures of unwanted cars and obey the warning by having them towed away..
2. Contact the game warden to come and inspect fishing licenses and give tickets.
Just these two suggestions will leak out to these univited guests and show them we mean to keep our community provite for those of us that pay dues and actually live here.
Any more ideas?
Thes intruders can change our way of life as we know it here!!!
