Trails of Fossil Creek

I was happy when Memorial weekend arrived because it meant the pool would open so our kids could have a fun & safe place to play and neighbors could get together.  Well it opened and this weekend was horrible for many of the families there.  One resident with a key to pool was allowed to bring in many guests and not respectful ones.  Today, Monday,  I was there and this group was there and had 22 people at last count!  They had boxes of beer laying around picnic table, many underage drinkers and trash everywhere. The horseplay in pool was terrible.  Many times we had to pull our kids off to side or out so they wouldn't get hurt.  These people have been allowed in all weekend.  I spoke with several residents and needless to say they are very upset.  This group ages were from 17 to no older than 22.  I don't believe any was a true owner of one of our homes.  The gatekeeper just let them keep coming.  If this is what the summer is going to be like, it is a shame that the residents that pay not only good money for their homes but a large fee to an HOAthat can't even offer a safe, clean and happy place to take their family to.

I don't agree with the under age drinking and bad behavior, but I don't like the fact that we can only have 2 guest per house. I have family that come in from out of town and we can't go to the pool together. Yet we pay to use this pool. I think we should be able to invite guest with approval from HOA. Nothing big... Just a small group. Makes us consider building a pool for next yr.
