This is to all the people in the neighborhood that apparently have not read or heard about the city's budget cuts due the the ecomony. 

 The City of Columbus is no longer providing FREE yard waste removal.  Rumpke provides curbside yard waste collection services for City of Columbus residents on a subscription basis.

Residents may begin signing up immediately, and service will begin the week of April 20, 2009. The cost is $49.50, paid in advance, for the 6-month season from mid-April to mid-October. The cost remains the same no matter when service is started. Residents may sign-up at any time. A second 6-month season will run from mid-October 2009 to mid-April 2010 at $49.50.

How to sign-up:

• Call Rumpke at 1-888-786-7531.  Payment is due at time of sign-up. 
• Go to http://www.rumpkerecycling.com to download a sign up form to be mailed to Rumpke

If you do not plan on signing up for yard waste service, PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE YOUR YARD WASTE BAGS AT THE CURB.  Rumpke WILL NOT pick them up.
