Has anyone noticed that our neighborhood seems to be trashed on trash pick up day?  Inevitably there will be pizza boxes, misc. paper, cans, etc. blowing in the streets after ID (Industrial Disposal) tips the cans?  I also suspect that it was one of their trucks that leaked hydraulic fluid up and down both sides of Darbrook Road.

And by the way, what day is recycling pick up day--I keep guessing wrong.

Industrial Disposal-ID picks up the recyclables every two weeks, the last pickup was on 01-04-10, the next pickup will be on Monday 01-18-10.

On windy days some of the trash while being dumped into the truck will be blown out onto the street. There have been times I have seen the drivers pickup the trash that has blown out, as well as residents once the trucks are finished.  This does happen and I feel it  is an isolated problem that does occur ocassionally.  You are probably correct that one of the trucks did lead hydralic fluid on the street as I have seen it on numerous ocassions.
