New Garbage Pickup Contract

Posted in: Promontory Pointe

Mr. Walsworth:

As to my status and right to discuss and complain about this new garbage contract, suffice to say: I am one of those you have obligated to it. My budget is affected.

But evidently, you do not want to answer my questions. Rather, you want a "face to face" discussion with me. Your tone is defensive.

In any case, a private discussion would not be fair to others. It would be leaving out 100s of people you likewise have bound. They too have a right to know your replies to the questions about this deal. And if it's so beyond reproach as you claim, why then are you stonewalling?

In sum, as a matter of fairness and duty, you should reply in writing to the posed questions, if not on this discussion board, then in a bulletin.

On this forum you will hear no more from me.

Thank you.

Diane Holden

Dave,

What is the contract length? I.e. when does it expire?

What are the opt out terms, if any?

Can we renegotiate for 1 day pickup if desired by certain households? is this an option?

I appreciate you selecting a company that does provide recycling, I appreciate this. But I did notice that they only accept only a fraction of what we weer able to set out with previous provider. I think we should do additional research on what our options are for recycling. I would be willing to help with this. Thanks very much.

Ms. Holden-  In reading previous posts here, I'm not sure why you're not willing to identify yourself, where you live, etc.  Until you do, why do you think anyone has any obligation to respond to anything you say?  It seems to me that Mr. Walsworth tried to be responsive, but all you reply with is more insults and accusations, most of them clearly without basis in fact.

I also would like to know if I can get once a week service. I am really struggling to make my house payment.

And I don't use reccylcing cause it's such a pain. I notice a lot of people don't. Why can't we choose to cut that out and save?
