Weeds again

We have completed the winter scalping on the front lawns. In the next two weeks we will be fertilizing and as it gets warmer, the bermuda will start growing. Emelda will be going through all the front yards the hand pull the major weeds. And we will be adding a little compost mixture to any spotted areas in the front. Basically , the yards are in good shape. I agree with Russ about the side yards. Zoysia is a great choice. Premium grass, moderate shade tolerant and low water. We have installed river rock in some of the side yards, particularly in those drainage swales. Shade and sitting water just wipe out the bermuda. So, I am anticipating a better result once the bermuda gets going. Thanks Susan
