It's that time again. Although it hasn't been announced yet, our annual Park West HOA meeting is normally held in April, right after the Circle C HOA meeting.
With all the exciting changes in the CCHOA organization, you may have forgotten that PW has almost exactly the same HOA organization model as CCHOA. CCHOA is a bear to change, Park West, however, should be easier to transition since we acutally have builders who are all to anxious to sneek off.
Yeah, leave without implementing another dollar on improvements - no lights for the mail centers, no hiking trailhead, and if you don't complain soon, you won't even see a members meeting (remember just two years ago we had to initiate a petition to get their attention). Ahheemm! Our own by-laws don't entitle us to much, but Texas Law over-rides the builders - We are required by law to hold a members meeting once a year.
OK, that last two meetings were all but a dog and pony show. We went, we listened, and we tried to participate, and then we all left, never to be heard from again. Looks like we are going to be doing the same dance this year.
What ever happened to the offer to install new directors to mentor under the current board ? (nothing)
What ever happened to the promise to post the monthly board meeting minutes ? (nothing)
What ever happened to our request for PW HOA web site ? (Nothing)
What ever happened to turning over the HOA to the neighborhood this year ? (nothing).
There are still a dozen undeveloped lots in Park West. The building craze may be hot, but it's not the hot in PW any longer. I wonder why ?
