Lantana - Sidewalkous at home blockerous
I actually like Lanatana, but not when it grows over my sidewalk and keeps me and my guests from using my front door. Maybe Circle C landscape could trim it regularly? I know I have nieghbors with the same issue. Heck, I didn't plant it there, Circle C landscape did.
Big Grass - Taller Sidewalkous blockerous
Why does Susan Hoover plant big grasses in tight places near sidewalks?...by the 1st year they cover the sidewalk completely and the sidewalk is useless.
Mail center flowers - deadeas withou watereous
Why plant flowers at the mail centers when you don't have the water system working to water them? 60% of the new flowers at the phase 2 mail center are dead.

We'll take care of it
Sal:
Thank you for your comments. We will certainly get out our clippers and keep those lantana trimmed. They are in very healthy soil and love the hot weather. And growing like weeds. Another option is to replace the lantana near along the sidewalks if you are unhappy with it. We have already done this in one case, and will replace for free. Just let us know what you would like to do so we can respond accordingly.
The newest team member for Park West is Mary Theilan. She is a native gardening expert and an expert trimmer. She is coming on board to help with the beds and trimming and just started yesterday.
I will check with Michael about the new flowers. The water is on properly, but last week's 100 degree plus heat spell took a toll on anything recently planted. I will suggest to Michael that we replant with perennials. This time of year, they will do the best.
Please let us know if you have any further questions.
Sincerely,
Susan Hoover

Landscape
Susan,
Please respond to my concern about the community sidewalks being covered with the large grasses.
As far as your offer about our personal sidewalk & our driveway plantings (that you could put something else in place of the Lantana)...What would you put there?
The spaces (about 1 x 2 feet between small bushes - there are 7 to 9 spaces). Not large enough for Lantana.

Let's take a look
Sal:
Mary is over in your cul-de-sac today doing trimming up near the front doors and along the sidewalks. If you do not like the results, there are a number of options for replacement plants. Michael will be happy to visit with you about your personal preferences. This option is, of course, available to all Park West residents at their request.
We will evaluate the community sidewalks and come up with a solution within the next few days. I will post it here. The good news is that we have developed better soils and the plants in Park West are thriving and growing rapidly.
Please send me an e-mail about when you would like to meet with Michael.
Thank you,
Susan Hoover
