The Annual Members meeting is traditinally held in March of every year, at Kiker Elementry School.
This year, it's March 23rd.
Plan to attend, but if you have an agenda item, you need to send it forward this month!!
We still have about 10 by-laws that need to be updated (nothing controversial, but they are simply out of date. All can be voted on in one motion, but you probably will want to review them ahead of time).
We have two Director's positions that are up for election. If you are interested, please ask to be included in the Nominations process, which should begin at the end of January.
You can expect a very well organized meeting, with handouts, a detailed agend, the annual budget report, the auditors report summary, and some reports about the Escarpment Village project, the CCHOA Amenities funds, and other committee work that is on-going.
We won the huge AISD Bond election this last year, which will be bringing a new Elementry school on the west end of La Crosse Ave and a new Middle School at Slaughter and FM 1826 (it was not on the original bond package, but our CCHOA Education committee was sucessful in their 18 month long project to get it added and approved) - that was a HUGE investment of time, research, and personal persusasion by a very motivated team of your neighbors.
CCHOA had it's best year every, including increasing the board of directors from 3 to 7 members. It's a bit more complicated, but communications improved, more was accomplished than ever before, and we made some huge improvements that you need to know about.
