Thanks Bill Gammon !!
Thanks Bill !
You prevailed in the best interests of the Circle C Ranch home owners and HOA members, most of whom had no idea that their HOA had been hijacked. Most of us have no idea what legal rights we had or how an HOA (non-profit corporation) was supposed to be run, according to Texas Law.
You educated some of us, but most importantly, you won us the right to run our own HOA. That is something that no one in Circle C Ranch has been able to do for the past 15 years.
Part of the problem, however, is ours. We, as members of this 4000 home community have been negligent and ignorant of what was going on right in front of us. We an organization like CCHOA is run for so long by the land developers this long, it's amazing that there is anything left. Our audits simply tell us that the money we took in was all spent and the books are balanced - it says nothing about the perfectly legal, but immoral and ethicly compromised mangement and leadership mess we have ended up with. This settlement give as a good place to get control of our $1.5 million dollar budget and start setting some priorities that better serve our community, not Gary Bradley and his friends.
It's high time to completely separate the commercial interests from our HOA and take full control of our own destiny. It's fine when we can work with developers and companies like Stratus Properties, but it's more important that we demand what is best for Circle C Ranch's 4000 home owners.
Bill, I appologize for insults, the curses, the threats, and the uncivilized actions of a hand full of outspoken, ignorant, and self-interested jerks. They are like pimples, every one has them, and it hard not to want to just pinch their little white head off! But, they were a very small group who don't represent the vast majority of silent HOA members, who have faith in the few Americans who stand up for our rights and privilages.
Thank You for salvaging my home owners rights!
You're a hero for Circle C Ranch, Bill Gammon!
