Subject: RE:FW: Bylaws Committee report
Well - Here's how I see this. The (bylaws) committee is a creature of the Board of the CCHoA. They are NOT in a position to call for a public hearing. I want to see the report and answer some of the questions BEFORE anything is brought to the public. This is NOT the PTA. The Board makes the decisions. The Board can solicit input, but we will not have a ''democratic vote'' on how we will modify the bylaws.
Regards,
Ken Rigsbee

The email above is from Ken Rigsbee to Steering Committee Chair Donald Abrams. My source is confidential. The email is 100% real. Ask Ken Rigsbee about it yourself. His phone number is in the CC neighborhood directory (288-3478), he's your ''representative'', let him know how you feel about his arrogance.
Note that Susan Hoover was involved in this discussion. Why?
MORE IMPORTANTLY, why does Ken Rigsbee want to IGNORE our CCHOA governing documents?
Article VIII of the Articles of Incorporation ''The initial bylaws of the corporation shall be adopted by its Board of Directors. The power to alter, amend or repeal the bylaws or to adopt new bylaws shall be VESTED IN THE MEMBERS, but such power may be delegated by the members to the Board of Directors.''
