I went out campaigning door-to-door yesterday. I was telling everyone about the neat group of neighbors who decided to team up and run for BOD because they felt the same about issues important to the future of Circle C : the importance of places for the kids to play, finding a fair solution to the pool problems, open communication, regularly published annual audits, open bidding for large contracts, and a BOD Code of Ethics.
I met many concerned residents who want change. I was shocked when one lady said, ?“My neighbor lady told me the ?“new?” people are worse than the ?“old?” ones!?” Worse! Why? Because the ?“new?” people have drawn attention to an unresponsive, secretive, unethical BOD who misused our trust, squandered our HOA funds, failed to follow Texas law, GAVE contracts to friends of Gary Bradley, and failed to publish timely financial audits?
If objecting to the above makes the ?“new people?” bad, then we're proud to be associated with them! Fairness and justice are important to us. My husband and I are both over sixty. We will go door to door until the day of the election if it will help elect board members who put homeowners first, who will sign a code of ethics, and who follow Texas law without being sued and ultimately forced to do so!
The following candidates are concerned residents, like ourselves. They want to join with the hard-working volunteers who have been working diligently behind the scenes. Together they will make Circle C a more resident-friendly place to live.
Vote for: Ed Scruggs, Mary Goehring, AE Martin, Steve Urban and Chris Dietz. They have pledged to 1) support the efforts that are working and 2) fix what is broken in Circle C. They have all signed the proposed Code of Ethics. (Not all of the other candidates will agree to this and have openly said so.)
Want to support the ?“new people?”? I thought so! Call or email us to find out how you can help.
Sincerely,
Marcia & Ed Silha
