I have posted hundreds of facts on this discussion board in the past year. This weekend I received a certified package, from BOD lawyers claiming one of my facts is wrong. I stated Bartlett's name is on Stratus/Circle C Land Corps Travis Cad records. This is true, Bartlett's name is still on the Travis cad records at this moment.
I have asked for full disclosure from all our board members. They have refused several times. So, I went to find answers myself.
I found out Bartlett gave our CCHOA property to his business, in the form of a 10 year lease, for less than cost. That means you and I pay more in taxes and utilities, than he pays us. THAT IS JUST WRONG and unethical. I found out our president Jim O'Reilly is making land deals with Stratus, while refusing to set up and HOA community meeting with Stratus/HEB as other HOA's are doing.
My concern is, why are the BOD using our CCHOA dollars to threaten members with lawsuits? These legal threats for the individual board members, should be paid for by the board members themselves. The CCHOA funds should be used for the betterment of our community. These are our funds. NOT A PERSONAL PIGGY BANK FOR 3 GUYS WHO ARE DOING ANYTHING TO RETAIN CONTROL.

Sal: I received a certified package with 2 letters in it, the cover letter from the law firm, Gray & Becker, that has been representing the BOD with the CCHOA funds for many months. The other letter was from Stratus, claiming Bartlett's name is only on their Travis cad records, since Bartlett collected and reviewed ad valorem tax for Stratus in the past. Strtus claims they have tried to take his name off the records with no success.
hpg: What kind of threats have you received?
Sal: Gray & Becker, in the cover letter: ''In the best interest of the neighborhood and to avoid the possibility that a libel and slander claim be brought against you, please state the correct facts in all of your future public correspondence.''
hpg: Why not post any correspondence received from Bartlett's representation?
Sal: There is simply too much to type in. I would be happy to fax it to anyone who would like to see it. just email me your fax number to imacsal@aol.com . I'll also fax you the documents I found at the courthouse that show the Stratus/O'Reilly deal for land on Mopac.
