Developers DID not save trees
I just want to mention that the developers in my area of CCR DID NOT SAVE THE TREES. I confronted them on numerous occasions when they were still building around my house. I watched them bulldoze MANY, MANY trees mid size and small in order to make it easier and cheaper for the development to take place. I also saw them ramming into large Oaks, Cedar Elms etc. with their backhoes with no concern or respect for OUR trees. I also want to mention a neighbor who told me their Builder would not flip their house in order to put the garage on the other side to save a HUGE oak without the owner paying 10,000.00 to do it! I swear, I am not making this story up.
So please, sign the petition and ask HEB/Stratus NOT to make this development look like Endeavors over on Slaughter/Brodie and the HEB on William Cannon.
They could have done a lot more to save many of the trees. Let?’s ask them NOT to just put their pocket books first!
BTW, I heard that Stratus, Beau Armstrong loves trees and has a commitment to SAVE THEM. Lets see if he does what he says!
