When I looked at the financial statements last year, I am perplexed at why the CCHOA paid two full-time bookkeepers to do part-time bookkeeping services. Last month when I inspected the CCHOA's financial documents, I finally got the answer I was looking for. For all these years, Terri Giles provided us bookkeeping services, but charged us a management fee. What amazed me the most was that Terri Giles not only provided services to the homeowners, she also provided services to the VACANT LOTS!!!

Giles & Shea
Giles & Shea came to us from Bradley Development. Surprised? Every dollar of our 1.3 million a year goes to a friend of Bradley.
This service has never been put up for bid.
Lisa, you forgot something in your report. The CCHOA has also paid for Giles & Shay's high speed internet phone lines for many years.

In the yellow pages under accountants, CPA is not next to his individual name or firm name...and the phone number for the firm name is a fax number (that can't be smart for business - I assume they don't care?).
Why would a CPA not advertise himself as one?

I don't care whether Terri Shea Giles is a bookkeeper, an accountant, a CPA or even a Queen............
Terri Shea Giles should only charge Circle C homeowners for the kind of services she has performed. Based on my investigation that Terri Giles has only provided us Bookkeeping Services but charged us like a Property Management Company. It was very much like selling you low grade hamberger but charging you T-bone steak's price.
