Disagree

I have to disagree with Mr. Gammon. It really doesn't matter if the coffee was on fire when McDonalds served it to her, does it? Whatever happened to personal responsibility? Can't a person guage the temperature of the cup and then act accordingly? As I remember this woman was in a car when she spilled the coffee. Isn't driving in a car putting yourself in a position to experience bumps and bounces on the highway? Why should McDonalds be responsible for her spilling hot coffee on herself? Don't get me wrong, I have sympathy for the woman's pain and suffering. But if we don't put an end to this culture of blaming everyone else for anything that goes wrong, our society as we know it will implode. Come on now. Be reasonable. What about the fat kid's mom suing McDonalds for feeding her kid fat food? Same diff.... right?
