It's time to go vote, again !!
This time, there are 22 new amandments to the Texas Constitution. ( I think it's been amended 300+ times, so whats another 22 ??)
Early voting has started -best way to do it. No waiting at most polling places - Malls, grocery stores, etc.
We need a new constitution a lot more than we need redistricting !
Thank goodness for the new electronic machines.

Why ''No'' on Prop 12?
From everything that can be seen and heard...lawyers and judges are out of control these days.
To one that is sick of low life money grubbing lawyers and judges who decide they are above the law and intrepret anyway they please....I think I will need a little more than your parroting the advertisement ''Save Texas Courts''!!!! Vote ''no'' on Proposition 12!!!! to convince me not to vote Yes.
Unless you convince me otherwise, I will be neutralizing your vote. You have your one shot.

This is Why...
Because Proposition 12 does nothing to curb the practices of ''low-life,'' ''money-grubbing'' judges and lawyers. Instead, it permits the legislature to arbtrarily limit a plaintiff's right to non-economic damages such as physical pain and suffering, mental
anguish and suffering, loss of consortium, loss of companionship
and society, disfigurement, or physical impairment. This likely means that the newlywed bride whose husband is killed by a drunk driver gets $250K for her trouble. Likewise for the high school football star who loses his legs and never walks again. (what's a little impairment?) Ditto for the burn victim who spends every moment of his life in excruciating pain. Funny how the republicans have no problem entrusting a jury to impose a death sentence and KILL someone but have a big problem permitting a jury to award money damages against someone, especially if that someone is a big pocket special interest who funds your party.
