Thank you

Mrs. Walsh:

Thank you for taking the time to write what you have written. Thank you also for talking with me when I dropped by your house, unannounced, after reading your message this morning. As I told you, I respect your approach, if not all your viewpoints.

I also respect your attempt to help those whose wounds you would heal and whom you would protect from further harm. I admire your loyalty to your friends and your courage in displaying it here where it is subject to criticism and attack. I accept what you have written as a straightforward effort to promote good will here and I endorse it.

Your neighbor,

An Apology

I apologize for any confusion that my wording may have caused, as I certainly have no reason to call Mr. Fennessy into question. My comment, ''You don?’t have to tear down another person if you have constructive solutions to offer,'' was intended to be a universal statement, and one that continue to I stand by. It was not in any way reflective of my opinon or experience with Mr. Fennessy. My apologies to you and him both, Sir.

There has been more than enough rage this last year for all of us. I do not support name calling by anyone, Mr. Rigsbee included. I am simply asking that we all ''Let go and get a better hold.''

You'll forgive me for not responding to your other comments. I do not wish to immerse myself in a debate on this venue, as my past experience has shown it to be pointless.

Respectfully,

Pamela Walsh

being neighborly starts at home

The reason your neighbor threw down your Bartlett support sheet, was because they were disgusted.

They were disgusted with your friends (Rigsbee, O'Reilly and Bartlett) sending Dwayne Dow to pull up political signs off ''common area'' on the weekend. We all know that the sign enforcement does not take place on the weekends. This was selective enforcement. Political signs were also stolen from the front of many of your neighbors yards during the middle of the night. Most neighbors don't think that is neighborly.

Maybe you need to speak with your friends.

BOD apology and hand-shake

I think that Jim O'Rielly and Ken Rigsbee owe the residents an apology and a pledge to do better in the future.

I'd like too see them start by signing the ''Code of Ethics'', viewing a video tape the state provides, for free, on what the Texas Open Meetings act really means and how it applies to them, as well.

And then I want to see them immediately end this legal battle with a public hand-shake, without their lawyers.

Enough is enough. The very thought that we may be paying $97,000 for CCHOA's legal fees makes me physically ill.

As for the personal attacks, I think it started with Jim O'Rielly and our former HOA lawyer, Patricia Arnold, who yelled out the name of William B Gammon in such a way as to incite a riot. She was quite effective and Jim was standing right next to her. It's an act of public irresponsibility that I have never witnessed before, and I've seen a lot of wierd things in Austin.

Making a mistake is human, failing to admit your mistake, especially while holding public office, is unforgivable.
