Today I received a flyer at my door to Come Celebrate!!! the exit of WalMart.

Why would the CCHOA celebrate when you eliminated a WalMart that wasn't even in your neighborhood, but on the periphery?

In exchange, your current CCHOA Board is giving it's blessing to an HEB IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD, along with a STORAGE FACILITY IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD.... Just what you wanted, rather than nice, upscale multifamily.

Sounds like a real reason to celebrate to me - Your Board not looking out for the Homeowners while they look out for their special interests.

Ask the Board why they haven't placed pocket playscapes in our parks for the children to play on?

Why hasn't the Board placed an appropriate, pleasing to view, sign at the Swim Center so you can drive through and determine the pool hours, or if there is a swim meet, or swim team practice, or another event at the swim center? Putting a sign up has been requested multiple times by the Pool Committee - only to benefit our neighbors - the people who live here. You didn't get a sign a year ago or even this past summer. Will the Board give you one for Summer 2004 - about six months away!

Yes, indeed, a celebration for the exit of WalMart

A cause to celebrate would be the exit of the current CCHOA Board along with their current Bylaws!

Demand a special meeting to vote them both out. It only takes a majority vote - very easy! Who is willing to sign up and then really celebrate?

there was something around here to celebrate. I agree with Pam, these BOD really play us for idiots! It is to the point where the insults on my intelligence is nauseating. Of course NOW it makes sense, they wanted to oust Wal-Mart (which I agreed with) but their ulterior motive is to bring in HEB on their buddies, STATUS'S land. I don?’t like feeling like a sap and a chump. I actually thought that MAYBE they gave a rats ass about this area! BULL. I mentioned in a earlier email, this is why they also PUSHED for Escarpment to cut through. It?’s benefits Stevie fat little pockets!
