Dear Members of the Board of the CCHOA,
Please note that as a member of the CCHOA I do expect a profound apology from the board for Ken Rigsbee?’s statements that were posted 2/8/04 on the cirlcec.cc website. The March newsletter, the official circlecranch.com and circlec.cc website are the places were such an apology should be posted.
That a member of this association in the position of authority calls neighbors publicly ?“idiots?” and worse names is appalling. It is however intolerable to me if I receive at the same time a letter signed by the whole board that states: ?“We all must commit to behaving better ?… must treat each other as we wish to be treated ?…?” and goes on ?“We, the board commit to the same promise.?” Gentlemen, due to this letter Ken Rigsbee?’s comments are now the standard set by the board, unless there will be an apology to the neighbors or the remaining directors will distance themselves from those comments.
To write to a female member in the neighborhood, unofficial or official as a director ''Blow it off, babe'' is intolerable for our community and especially for me as a woman! Considering that we do not have a D&O insurance, and definitely didn't have one at the time of those comments, makes Ken Rigsbee's position on the board intolerable for our neighborhood. I do not want to see another lawsuit, especially one that might concern discrimination in a diverse neighborhood like Circle C.
I have always treated the board and the members of this association with respect even though I too have received hateful letters from others members. This is a hard time for all of us but it no excuse for not acting professional, especially when you are in the position of authority. Our children already learn at Kiker to be respectful and responsible. I do expect the same and much better of the leaders of our community.
Sincerely,
Annegret Pfeifer

BOD response
March 4, 2004
Dear Mrs. Pfeifer,
Thank you for your letter to the board dated February 21, 2004. While we appreciate your concerns, the board does not intend to either reprimand or require Ken Rigsbee to publicly apologize.
Thank you,

One last chance
Mr. Rigs-It will have another chance to offer an apology for his off-color remarks when he attends the meeting at Kiker tomorrow where his successor will be elected. Perhaps he is only choosing to wait until that time to make sure that everyone can hear his words and gauge his sincerity. I hope so. I, too, have been more than a little disappointed by his actions since he began stooping to personal attacks.

Yes, Annegret!
Annegret,
The way members should be addressed is very important. Rigsbee's unprofessional behavior is dead wrong. That is one of the many reasons these 5 candidates signed the ''Code of Ethics''. It actually includes a section that gives every homeowner rights. These 5 candidates will always treat every single homeowner with the respect they deserve.
They are the only candidates that have signed the ''Code of Ethics''. This assures all of us that they have the highest ethical standards. They will work to get playscapes, a community center, regular audits and open bidding (to save our CCHOA money).

Ballots and proxies can no longer be turned in at the HOA Office, but it's not too late. It's important to vote! Please bring your ID and come to Kiker Wednesday at 6:30pm. You don't need to stay for the meeting if you don't want to. Just vote and leave if you want.
This is an important election for Circle C. We are in the final stretch. We need your support.
Every vote counts. YOURS could make the difference!
Thank You,
Your Circle C Neighbor,
