This was a part of the email I rec'd this morning from CCHOAnews@aol.com, subject ''ELECTION RESULTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!''

I'm curious as to what that line of the msg means. Has some group already selected the candidates for the expanded board? Did I miss a neighborhood-wide call for candidates?

Well, first off, you apparently forgot to include or did not read the COMPLETE sentence.

Here it is for you to read again:
''A slate of your neighbors, for director is almost ready to go, we encourage you to run with them, and be part of Circle C's future. Leave the past behind, and move forward.''

This is to let everyone know that there are people ready to serve.

If you are not part of the Status Quo and will sign the bylaws committee ''Code of Ethics'' then I'll vote for you myself. It's that simple.

Of course I read the entire sentence. I included the clause about which I'm confused.

I'm glad to know there are folks ready to run; thank you for the clarification. I also know of some who are interested in serving.

I appreciate your vote of confidence, but I'm not a candidate.

I will, however, be happy to edit future e-mails and postings so as to produce more clearly written and grammatically correct communications; this might help alleviate the confusion that has permeated this process.
