Does anyone know when they are going to break ground on the new HEB off of Slaughter and Mopac?

Slaughter & Mopac?

I wasn't aware of this - I thought there was a possibility of one at Slaughter & Escarpment. I don't know if that is even a done deal though.

HEB at Escarpment Village

HEB decided not to build off of Mopac, because of difficult access.

So, Stratus offered tract #103, which is north of Slaughter Lane at Escarpment Blvd. The details are on the CCHOA website. Ground breaking can't happen until they get zoning approval for the northern sections of the property (changing from LR to GR).

I haven't heard of any start date. There are many details to work out.

It appears that HEB's target date for opening the new store is early 2005.
