lucky1 is anonymous

lucky1 - you are so quick to call people out for being wrong. You even go so far as to claim that the BOD is pretending to post under other people's names. Why should you request that anybod show anything, when you won't even show yourself? Where do you get off comparing this Circle C debate to war? This is a petty argument that turned into a lawsuit. At least Sal and some others have the guts to show their name.

Why lucky1 can't be named

I know Lucky1, I have spoken with this person a number of times face to face. I can take the ''shots'' here on the website since my business will not be effected. A few people in Circle C have real valid reasons why they can't post with a name. Lucky1 is one of them, he has a life long career/profession that would end with any controversy. If this person HAD to post with a name, they simply would not post. I disagree that anonymous posts are totally irrelevant. I do have an issue with those who only attack, present themselves as someone that does not have a ''dog in the fight'', but can never add any debate on the issues and try to detract (swim team moms/Swim team employees - paid and volunteer).

I would prefer that all of us debate the issues, I wait for someone to debate me, as Masset did many months ago. Massett no longer posts any debate, we have a mutual friend that tells me that he does ''understand'' now. Brandon, I hope you'll see one of my posts and debate an issue soon. Why can't someone, anyone debate me on the issues?

This is a community of secrets. When neighbors ask the info center or the BOD questions they get stonewalled.

About 8 weeks ago I asked Donald Abrams for a list of committees and who was on them. He said he would get me the list shortly. Is more than 2 months shortly?

He tells all his new committee members to not tell anyone what happens or what they talk about in the committee. Why is that? Does Donald Abrams think he's in a 007 movie?

Other HOA's have direct contact phone numbers and emails to each committee chairperson.

****My suggestion: Lets just keep everything open. No more secrets here in Circle C.

FULL DISCLOSURE

Did you ever wonder why your BOD has not been open to full disclosure? Maybe Mr. Rigsbee didn't want everyone to know he worked for the oil industry as a lobbyist when he and his 2 BOD pals gave the OK for the Oil pipeline to be run right down the through the middle of Circle C.

Maybe Mr. O'Really didn't want you to know he works at Merrill Lynch, you know, the same place our CCHOA 1.3 million dollar account is.

Or maybe Mr. Bartlett, (the BOD member that is not a resident and never was) didn't want you to know he has many interests in the development south of highway 45. So when he loves the ides of running Escarpment from William Cannon to Buda straight through Circle C, his interests (land) gain millions of dollars in value.

****My suggestion: Lets just stop the secrets and have Full Disclosure. Three sentences in an annual report, once a year does not do the trick. I have asked our BOD for Full Disclosure, they said they don't have to give it. Lets also get a Conflict of Interest policy for our future BOD.

Privacy Policy

I am sure there are quite a few people in the position that Lucky 1 is in. It is also stated in the Privacy Statement of Neighborhood Link that any person that wants to remain anonymous has that right. It is not up to the Site Coordinators to distinguish who has the right to remain anonymous or not. It is a ''Terms of Use'' and a ''Privacy Act'' designed to help keep the anonymous anonymous. I hope lucky 1 knows if they cross the line and don't see eye to eye with the domineering on this web site that they have the chance of being ''Named'' by the Site Coordinator. Don't get them mad at you Lucky 1.
