I've only seen one name out there for one of the director spots, Chris Dietz. Are there others? Seems like we should have a few names by now.

They said people wouldn't run.

I've heard there are 8 or 9 people that have been nominated to date. And, there are still 13 more days for nominations.

I thought the developers side said we couldn't get enough people to run? Hopefully some of the candidates will show up at Kiker this Thursday at 7:00pm. That's the Town Hall search for candidates, where people can introduce their candidacy, and neighbors can ask some questions.

Ken Rigsbee has not committeed to run again. The deadline is Tuesday, March 2nd for Nominations. Go ahead to put forward names of people you'd like to see on your board in April. The Nominations comittee will contact them to verify that they are willing to put their name on the ballot.

You can still have your name submitted from the floor at the annual meeting, but you wouldn't have any real chance of getting elected, because of the Proxy system we use in CCHOA today. The Proxy system is a BAD idea, but it's all we have right now. That's just another of the many changes we need to make in CCHOA to bring it up to the higher standards we all desire.
