Why?
Why would anyone not on the board be approaching management companies? Can we just give the board a little time to evaluate the current situation, get their feet wet, and decide on a strategic approach? Having individual residents going off half-cocked and researching management companies is putting the cart way before the horse.

To Resident7
Hello! Resident7
I am just being helpful. I didn?’t point the gun to the heads of these new board members to force them to read my posts.
I posted the information for all the homeowners, not just for the new board members.
This is a free country. I have the freedom to make the posts and you have the freedom not to read them.
And also, I have the right to post my full name and you have the right to cowardly hiding behind ?“Resident7?”!

Why not?
Knowledge is power.
I enjoyed reading what a professional management company does and learning about an option that might happen sometime in the future for our HOA. Most mature HOA's out there end up with a professional management company. There's no harm in Lisa collecting information and sharing it with us.
Half cocked would be if she went out and hired a company on behalf of the CCHOA. I'm sure she does not plan on hiring them, unless she's a millionaire with money to blow.

Hello! I beg you to behave.....
Lisa: I am not sure that my references with names and numbers should be posted to the web site. It is not usual that this information is published in this manner and I would not want to violate the privacy of any of my presidents without their permission.
Certainly, giving them to the board is fine.
Thanks, Paul Meisler

Lisa: What a great opportunity for the community to share information and support. The references are OK as they are, just block the phone numbers of the presidents.
Thanks, Paul

Paul:
I am sorry that you don't feel comfortable that I posted your e-mails and references on our community Web site. I wanted you to know that ALL our Board members are also homeowners. We are all very civilized. I have been posting on this Web site more than a year and everyone using this Web site knows who I am, and I have never received one, single crank call and any unfriendly e-mails.
Sorry! I can't remove the phone numbers on your references once it was posted, but I can assure you that no one in Circle C would make crank calls to those presidents.
