Got opinions on this new roadway project, please let me know. I'm trying to schedule a Town Hall meeting, prior to the CAMPO March 14th meeting, where they will adopt their final DRAFT of their 2030 (25-year) roadway plan.
Our community needs to weigh in on hwo we feel about Toll Roads, which oddly enough, are NOT in this current DRAFT Plan. ( I have a copy and YOU can get one, too, FREE, from CAMPO).
If you are FOR or AGAINST more highway out here in Circle C, they are a very real possiblity. I have just seen a video visual that show what will happen to our Hill Country views and the higher noise level that 10-25,000 cars a day will bring out here, if the 25 year plan goes through as it's laid out today. Worse, with Tolling, the roads that would have taking 20-30 years to build, can go up in as little as 6-8 years!!! THAT IS REALLY FAST.
If you have an opinion or an interest in what the new extension of SH 45 (Southwest from MOPAC to I-35) will look like, or you just can't imagine an overpass and elevated freeway over La Crosse Ave and Slaughter Lane, then please contact me about holding a meeting.
I'm thinking about March 12th, but I need a list of neighbors interested enough to attend, in order to reserve the right sized meeting hall.

However, I do think a Town Hall meeting will send a much stronger message, because we can get more like minded people and organizations (HOAs, OHAN, schools, ect.) to participate.
Lets tell CAMPO with one voice, exactly what we think about connecting Circle C Ranch to I-35 with a Freeway.
