i have looked over my initial response and it does seem to be a personal attack..i am sorry if it offended you.  i dont know you  so how can i judge you jpersonally.

as an aside, i joined the HOA when i first moved to RIver Trails and was  a member for a couple of years then i quit... the reason was that it could do nothing about the people riding their motorbikes in the greenbelt.  so it is not a new problem and not everyone who bought here  bought for that reason.

again i apologixe if my remarks offended.

Spargmiw,   out of curiosity, does your house back up to the Greenbelt?  Also,  I saw your post stating that you are going to join the HOA and do something postiive out of what you find negative but with this post - you state you quit because your problem could not be fixed.  And then in another post you pretty much tell everyone to stop complaining and do something.   I am not sure I follow your logic?

spargmiw would gripe at a free money give away.  He has figured out how to use a computer and has no other way to complain.

Behind my house is not a greenbelt....it is a meadow, a lovely, lovely meadow that one cannot tend to, but it is now complete with garbage, building materials, "coyotes howling at my window now for 6 nights in a row.....soon we could all be calling Wild Fire" , "cats and rats(no elephants) but Lord I'm so forlorn"  oh yeah and the snakes, I forgot those..yes, for lack of something better, I will call it a Meadow!(sounds better than a "5#1t hole" and it all belongs to Mr. Newell(except the fence...that was courtesy of HOA) MYYYY ???????  is WHY doesn't he have to keep up his property?  At least to dirt bikes and 4-wheelers kept it mowed down back here  Oh, oh I know (we should charge him for grounds keeping)!
