Kudos to the City of Hurst for a great 4th of July celebration. It was kid friendly and the band was good!! The fireworks were the best they have done!!!!!! Why can't we be incorperated into Hurst. They seem to have their act together compared to FW.

Well... we are in the HEB School district paying taxas to HEB which is a fine district. The Police and Fire department is only a short distance away. Does any one know if Hurst Property Taxas are any lower than what we pay here? If so...  why stay with Fort Worth as we do not even have sirens here to warn us of bad weather or what ever. What bennies are we getting from Fort Worth with the taxes we are paying?

Just curious...

Fort Worth taxes are higher, I lived in Hurst for 17 years before moving here, everything about Hurst is great...great Library, Great sense of community, they are building an amazing Senior Citizen center on Pipeline off of Precinct and Hurst Recreation Center is AMAZING!(go see it) it's on Pipeline and Mary Dr. they have wonderful programs for every age and an incredible workout facility, indoor jogging track, pool, tennis(blah, blah, blah)!  I know why did I move out here(wondering myself)!  Check it out, I think we still get some of the privileges as a Hurst Resident, and we can participate in the Rec. Center programs as Non-Resident, it's  a little more expensive but still very affordable!  They have an on-line catalog, check it out.  One more thing, the Library has a free music series and free storytelling for the young-uns!

A big  "Thank You" to 1990Ford and Family for letting me borrow the spurs. The centerpiece looked great but, there was very stiff competition.  I would not have wanted to be a judge.  The winner hand painted her boot with "Wild West" scenery.  It was very nice.

I was shocked with the quick response.  I miss the good ole days where you could borrow sugar from a neighbor.  I was glad to see your response.

Please don't hesitate to contact me should you ever need a favor returned.  I'll do what I can.

Thanks Again!
