When I first pointed a Jeers to the assault from the homeowner I was confused and angry that the husbandof the  VP of River Trails and COPS can assault a pizza driver and get away from a crime.  Putting your hands on someone else is a crime.  Why is it that this homeowner can get away from that?  Is there abuse of power?   I am a dues paying member and am very angry that this does not set a good example.  I promise this, If i'm driving down the street and someone puts their dirty little paws on me, I'll touch you back.  I live in this neighborhood because it is clean, (for the most part), affordable and kid friendly.  When I hear that Mellisa McDougal's husband assaulted a pizza driver and when the police show up, nothing happens I am outraged.  This is just the crime I hate to see, and then to not comment on this subject irritates me to the end.  All of the good deeds done are erased and the lack of character is too powerful to dismiss.

Umm Im not positive but Im pretty sure that the Fort Worth Police department could care less if someone was the head of an HOA. A HOA that really has no authority over its supposed neighborhood. They dont enforce any rules like making sure everyone has a tidy front lawn or that people only park 1 vehicle on the street etc. we arent required to be memebers (unfortunelty) as this would def help clean up the neighborhood. Im also pretty sure a big city like Fort Worth is not going to give special treatment to our HOA leaders. Maybe a nicer sub division like LORT they would but def not ours. Have you asked to speak to someone at the Police Department to see why charges were not filed ? Is it possible the Pizza guy decided not to charge them ? With a name like 'kick4fun' I would think you would be all for violence ...guess not.

umm, lets see... First, I spoke with the pizza guy and he was dumbfounded as to why the police dismissed this charge.  I told him that it was important to follow up but he was sure that his efforts would not be helpful.  Thanks for asking though.  I'm not really sure why my name kick4fun has anything to do with the voilence that this RTHA homeowner used, but I'll answer.  I am a runner and have always used my legs in sports, including collegiate athletics.  Thus kick4fun.  Not beatuppizzadriver4fun or something like that. Again, thanks for playing.

CHEERS to you K4F! This was the exact problem I have had. Guy called you out, you responded. History shows ranking HOA members will not have the same character as you and others have demonstrated.

Hey guyincoat, maybe it used to be "kickyour a**4fun", but Chuck Norris had that one already.Wink
