We have a neighbor on Tyne Trail where their vehicle was egged two nites in a row this past wkd. Are we the only victims? Did anyone see anything?

Mailboxes on San Joaquin got hit with (what I hope is pudding) chocolate pudding, hopefully it's not something else that's even more unpleasant.

When did the mailbox thing occur and on what part of San Joaquin? I live on SJ, close to Perdido and didn't notice anything yesterday afternoon with out mailboxes, so I'm wondering if it didn't happen after that?
And, yes, I think the vandalism is getting worse. Every time you turn around, there is something else going on. It's gotten to the point that when I walk I carry a whistle and pepper spray; I'm too afraid not to.

It was near Thames, so it was probably kids. Perhaps we need a light version of police "scared straight" thing for the older kids at the school & the area Jr & Sr high, if caught you can go to jail for vandalism (not very long). I've never seen the inside of a jail, but I'm sure it's very unpleasant, no parent would want their kid to go. Maybe I should put a camera out on the street and catch footage next time it happens. |
