Mailboxes on San Joaquin got hit with (what I hope is pudding) chocolate pudding, hopefully it's not something else that's even more unpleasant.

Is it me or does the vandalism seem to be getting worse in the neighborhood?

When did the mailbox thing occur and on what part of San Joaquin?  I live on SJ, close to Perdido and didn't notice anything yesterday afternoon with out mailboxes, so I'm wondering if it didn't happen after that?

And, yes, I think the vandalism is getting worse.  Every time you turn around, there is something else going on.  It's gotten to the point that when I walk I carry a whistle and pepper spray; I'm too afraid not to.

It was near Thames, so it was probably kids. Perhaps we need a light version of police "scared straight" thing for the older kids at the school & the area Jr & Sr high, if caught you can go to jail for vandalism (not very long).  I've never seen the inside of a jail, but I'm sure it's very unpleasant, no parent would want their kid to go.  Maybe I should put a camera out on the street and catch footage next time it happens.
