Is anyone else being awakened at 2 a.m. to the sound of constant hammering in the back of River Trails?  It lasts until 6:30 A.M.  Can we not do something about them drilling in the middle of the night!?  This is B/S!Yell

I live along side the south pond west end of the pond so I here this pounding noise which does sound like jack hammers. This has been going on for years and it is that blasted gas well is producing this awful noise. The residents living along side the south pond also have to listen to that red tractor trailer rig which halls the contaminated water from the gas well at all hours of the night and day.I called the Ft.Worth city conncil about the red truck and all the noise they create, but the man I spoke to said Barnette Shell has purchased all that land and they can do pretty much as they please. The city of Ft.Worth is making millions of dollars from all these gas wells so why should they bother what we have to complane about. The man I spoke to is Tom Edwards for taking in complaints about the gas wells. His no. is 817-392-2314 so you might call him for further problems. There always seems to be that snake in the garden in a rather peaceful area such as River Trails.

Yeah well, everyone at the front of the sub-division and in the middle were excited to get their stupid checks and a promise(shallow promise) of a fence at the front and wanted to hear nothing I had to say about the repetative noise at al hours of the night morning and it just gets worse and worse!  Supposedly no one has gotten a royalty check so that means they aren't pumping gas(my ass!)  And now we've gotten a zoning letter about changes and it's sooo small no one can read and the City P&Z is apparently ignorant and can't tell me what the hell's going on either.  It's obivously something our HOA is going to jump on the band wagon over or they would have been all over the website telling you go to the meeting!

Personally,  I wish all the drilling would stop.  It so bad for the air we breathe and the water we drink.  I think we should have our water checked anyhow.

What zoning letter?  I didn't get a letter about re-zoning?  What about the new homes they are building to the West and how high they are building the land.....is that going to cause any homes problems with rain and run-off directly behind those new homes?  Are they having to build so high because that is a flood plain?  I know they can't touch the little land that runs in between the two divisions - something to do with an old Indian treaty or that is what I was told before.  Have you seen all the homes for sale in our area?
