Does anyone know why there were 3 cop cars and a police helicoptor flying over a house on the West end of San Joaquin?

Broke into an empty rent house and another home.  Luckily a neighbor was home across the street and chased them down to the river.  Left there getaway car behind which had been reported stolen this morning.  Luckily, he wasn't able to get away with much since he left on foot. 

Good grief... just realized how poorly written that was....

A neighbor from across the street heard them kicking in the door and came out chasing the guy down to the river. 

Oh geeze.....I thought that perhaps the breakins had stopped for awhile.  Thank you to the neighbor who heard it and called the police.  I guess we can never let our guard down anymore.
