Exactly how many famililies are allowed to live in a single family home? Isn't it illegal for more than one? The rental on Brownstone appears to have more than one family. Also, how many cars can be parked in one driveway?

I'm not sure about your first question...though I'd think it should just be one family to a home. I'm very confident that there is a 2 car limit on parked cars in the driveway. It's been awhile since I read the covenant, but I'm almost sure of the car limitation. If you don't have a covenant, you can call Gasser Property Mgmt and they can send you one. By Chris |

Rental Property
Unfortunately, it is not illegal to rent a home in our neighborhood, or any other. That, from what I have been told, would be an infringement on the homeowner's rights. As far as how many families per home, that would be up to the fire codes or health dept. not the subdivision. As far as the cars in the driveway, I believe there is no set number not allowed. I know they are not allowed to park in the yard/lawn. |

DO SOMETHING!!!!
Please! Tell us who enforces these laws. Who can we call to have these problems resolved? There is a yard on Brownstone that has a huge service truck and trailer parked in it. It takes up the whole front yard, it looks terrible. There would be fewer complaints if we knew who we could call, and we knew something would be done. Instead it seems we get nothing more than, and I quote ''I know they are not allowed to park in the yard/lawn.'' If you know these rules please enforce them. |
