Tucker-Jefferson Neighborhood Association

we live on the corner of tucker and court, and, as you all know, tucker is a very busy street. it seems to me as if people dont know that there are children that play in those streets as well. i watch cars fly down there everyday. just the other day, a truck going about 50 almost hit a woman in a wheel chair! what can we do about this. write the city and ask for speed bumps? i am curious to hear some of your opinions.
